BAKU, 9 March 2012 - Fifteen children and teenagers came together this week in the capital of Azerbaijan to share their stories on juvenile justice and violence against children in a OneMinutesJr video workshop. The 5-day training is part of a wider project to end torture and ill treatment of children, supported by the European Union in partnership with UNICEF.

GUBA, Azerbaijan - June 28, 2010 - UNICEF Azerbaijan is organizing a summer camp for children from all over the country this week in the Guba Olympic Complex in the North of the country. 100 children are here and sixteen of them have the opportunity to produce OneMinutesJr videos about issues that are of major interest to them.

Vulnerable children tell their stories in one-minute videos

Skopje, Monday, 22 November: Over the past two weeks twenty seven vulnerable children residing in child care institutions created one minute videos to comment on their lives and to express their aspirations and fears The films were the results of one-minute video workshops that were organised as part of the EU-funded and UNICEF implemented and co-funded Justice for Children project.

On Saturday 17 October, the annual StrangerFestival & theoneminutesJr awards will be presented. StrangerNews will be on location to report from this full evening programme. All 35 nominated videos in 6 categories will be screened. There will be interviews, unexpected guests and even some backstage madness. Studio K has been converted into a television studio especially for the occasion. The StrangerAward Show will be broadcast live on www.strangerfestival.com.
The broadcast starts at 20.30 sharp, on Saturday 17 October.
